Dosera Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Dosera is operated by Virtual Traffic Lights, a company registered in Varaždin, Croatia. Our contact details are at the end of this document.

2. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Dosera, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

3. Service description

Dosera is a mobile application that helps you track GLP-1 medications, body measurements, nutrition, symptoms, and related wellness data.

Dosera is not a medical device. Dosera does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations.

4. Medical disclaimer

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Dosera is a personal tracking tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Using Dosera does not create a doctor-patient relationship.

• Always consult your healthcare provider before making decisions about your medication, dosage, or treatment plan.
• Do not rely on Dosera (including its AI features) to make health decisions. The app does not provide health recommendations.
• In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. Do not use Dosera to seek emergency help.
• AI-powered features provide general informational responses based on anonymized data. They are not medical advice, may be inaccurate, and must not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
• We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from your use of the app. You use Dosera entirely at your own risk with respect to health decisions.

5. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Dosera without parental or guardian consent.
• Users aged 13–17 may use Dosera only with verifiable parental or guardian consent.
• Users under 13 may not use Dosera.

6. Account and authentication

• Dosera uses Firebase Authentication. You may sign in with Google, Apple, email, or use the app anonymously.
• If you start with an anonymous account, you can link it to Google or Apple sign-in later.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your account.

7. User content and data

• You own your health data. We do not claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over the data you enter into Dosera.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
• By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Dosera for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free tiers or circumvent restrictions
• Use the app to store or transmit malicious content

9. Subscriptions and payments

• Dosera may offer premium features via subscription.
• All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not directly handle payment card details.
• Subscription management, renewals, and cancellations are governed by the respective store’s policies.
• Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google per their refund policies.

10. Google Drive and iCloud backup

• You may back up your Dosera data to your own Google Drive or iCloud account.
• Backups are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a password you set.
• You are responsible for remembering your backup password. We cannot recover data from an encrypted backup if you lose the password.
• Your backup data is stored in your own cloud storage account and is subject to that provider’s terms.

11. Health platform integrations

• With your permission, Dosera can read data from Apple Health or Health Connect (Android).
• This data is used only within the app to reduce manual entry. It is not sent to our servers.

12. AI features

• Dosera may offer AI-powered features that process anonymized health data through third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI).
• No personal identifiers are sent to AI providers.
• AI responses are informational only and are not medical advice. See Section 4.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.

13. Intellectual property

• Dosera, its design, code, trademarks, and content (excluding your data) are owned by Virtual Traffic Lights or its licensors.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of Dosera without our written consent.
• You retain all rights to the data you enter into the app.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

Dosera is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Virtual Traffic Lights shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Dosera.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.
• We are expressly not liable for any health outcomes, medical decisions, or treatment results arising from your use of or reliance on Dosera or its AI features.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

16. Termination

• By you: You can delete your account at any time from within the app or by emailing us.
• By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.
• Upon termination, your server-side data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Local data on your device remains until you uninstall the app. Backups in your Google Drive or iCloud remain in your account.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at dosera.app/terms with a new effective date. Continued use of Dosera after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you also retain the protections of the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Varaždin, Croatia, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
